GLENORCHY ROAD - NARROWS ROAD CLOSURE

On behalf of Downer and QLDC, I am emailing you regarding an upcoming road closure on the Glenorchy Road.
Downer is upgrading the guard rail in The Narrows from the 26th of February for approximately 4 weeks. During this time we will have traffic management in place, with a stop/go operating as the road will be reduced to one lane through the site.
We will be required to close the road on the 06th & 07th of March and again on the 13th of March from 9am to 4pm with the road opening every hour on the hour for 15 minutes to install the new guard rail posts. We will be able to accommodate for emergency services (Fire, Ambulance or Police) should this be required.
We will endeavour to minimise these closures as much as possible. If you have any concerns regarding the timing of the road closures, please do not hesitate to contact either Chris Pethick or Duncan Summefield cc’d in this email.
