COMMUNITY ADAPTATION DISCUSSION EVENT

Apr 8, 2021 - 2:00pm to 7:00pm

TOPIC:

What could happen to the physical environment of the Head of Lake Wakatipu area in the future, and what might we do? You are invited to the second event of a series aimed at developing a natural hazards adaptation plan for the Head of Lake Wakatipu area in the face of its changing environment. Drop in any time between 2-7pm on April 8th to have a chat with our friendly team about the changing environment and future risks. We will be talking about how river and delta changes and expected impacts of climate change might alter the natural hazards of the area. We are also looking forward to having discussions with you about different adaptation approaches, and what these mean to the local community. To find out more, contact us at headofthelake@orc.govt.nz or 0800 474 082.

Venue: Glenorchy Community Hall
