Paradise Ziplines
The Paradise Ziplines experience is an 8-line zipline wilderness adventure, which takes you on a very diverse journey by wire and walking track through the pristine native forest of the Oxburn stream valley. The lines vary; from up high with stunning views out to Mt Aspiring National Park and Paradise, through the beautiful native forest canopy, to just metres above an alpine stream. All different lengths with a total of 1km over the 8 lines. During the whole experience you are surrounded by beautiful native beech forest.
Ziplining, called a flying fox by some, is a fun and adventurous activity - not as extreme as bungy jumping or a canyon swing but more exhilarating than a stroll around the Glenorchy Lagoon! This is a perfect activity for those wanting to see some of the regions stunning scenery, experience the native forest and see an amazing slot canyon which is otherwise inaccessible to the public. If you like the idea of getting into the wilderness but don't have the time/energy/enthusiasm for a multi day hike, if you like the idea of canyoning but don't want to get wet/wear a wetsuit/swim, then this is the perfect activity for you! The thrill and scenery will compete for your attention during the regions best ziplining experience* (*as noted by numerous customers in their reviews on Trip Advisor, Google and Facebook).

What to wear
Enclosed footwear is a must – think running/hiking shoes or similar. This is no place for high heels or sandals!
In winter - dress similar to how you would to go up the ski field, we'd rather you were toasty warm! If you have them, bring a beanie and thin gloves.
For all seasons - Long sleeves and long pants are recommended – this will make it more comfortable for the harness, it can get chilly in the shade of the forest and sometimes we get sandflies.
Always bring at least one extra layer more than you think you may need – you can leave it in our secure storage area at the base if you decide once you are there that you don't need it for the tour.
We are an ALL WEATHER operation (unless it's unsafe!). Bring a rain jacket if you have one... just in case! The weather is often different than in Queenstown and we operate in pretty much all conditions – you are under the shelter of trees so it doesn't typically get horrid but sometimes a rain coat can be handy - we do have spares on site if needed. If the forecast is for rain you can always bring a change of clothes with you to change into after the trip so you can be totally dry for the trip home.
We provide helmets and gloves for your protection (as well as the harness and all other safety gear of course!)
Bring a water bottle, you’ll be away for up to 4 hours.
