As the season ripens toward the summer solstice and festive days, tamariki aged 2-4, and 5–12 are invited to create beautiful Christmas decorations inspired entirely by nature. We’ll begin by wandering through the garden, gathering flowers, herbs, seed heads, vines, and branches — everything we need to craft meaningful festive pieces. Together, tamariki will create: nature deco hangers, handmade candle holders, Christmas wreaths woven from garden vines, small natural ornaments and festive treasures. We open with a simple circle for gratitude and a short moment of mindfulness to help children arrive and connect with the living garden. Through hands-on creativity and gentle guidance, they’ll learn how the land offers everything needed to make heartfelt gifts, discovering that generosity grows from connection with nature.
