We have a fenced 500sqm section in the centre of Glenorchy available to rent to someone with a Tinyhouse on wheels.

Ideally you should be off grid and we will provide water. 

NO caravans, campers etc.

Playgroup is having a meeting at the Lodge ( Mr Glen) on Wednesday, 10th May at 6pm.
Parents of enrolled children are welcome as well as other parents of pre schooler's that might like to join in.

Glenorchy native plant nursery will be having a working bee this Thursday (2nd February) from 2-4pm. Lots of seedlings to pot up. Everyone welcome, bring some gloves.

Looking for someone to sublet our place while we're away for the month of October. Would be ideal for a couple. It's a spacious 1 bedroom in Paradise. Great for peace and quiet. No pets, no smoking.

Calling all interested stall holders for the Glenorchy Races 2023. If you are interested in having a stall at the Glenorchy Races. During the day or in the evening please email a description of your stall and what you will be selling and what hours you are interested in.

Lakeside Rugby Club AGM will be held 11th August 2022 at 7.30pm at the club rooms.

A public meeting will be held to gauge interest in establishing a Men’s Shed in Glenorchy.

We are a small friendly group who enjoy singing in harmony. The songs we sing are mostly contemporary, have three or four parts and we follow written music while learning them, but it is not essential that you can already read music. From 1 April 2022, you will need a booking to use the QLDC Pigeon Island hut. You can find all the information needed to safely use the Pigeon Island Hut and make a booking online here: www.qldc.govt.nz/pigeonisland

We have installed signage on Pigeon Island and Glenorchy, Kingston and Frankton Jetties, and a promotional campaign has started this week. 

We’ll also be running a working bee with our staff to upgrade hut facilities in early April.
