THE NINE LIVES OF KITTY K

Mar 25, 2021 - 5:30pm

The Nine Lives of Kitty K. is the debut historical novel from 91-year-old Margaret Mills, a former Queenstown local.

Set in a turbulent period of goldfield history, the novel is centred around Kitty Kirk, one of the toughest women in the history of Otago.

In her lifetime, some called her a heroine, others called her a harlot, but she was doubtless famous for her daring deeds which are still remembered ninety years after her death.

Join us on Thursday 25th March at 5:30pm to celebrate the launch of Margaret's first novel. Copies will be available for purchase.
