Wall Stories, is a record of some unique, historical locations at the top of Lake Wakatipu.

Places in which some are completely decommissioned and in some cases may not have much more time before they are lost forever. These habitats, these walls have stories to tell about how we were as people in a time long ago.

This work is very much in a sense in tune to the Japanese art of seeing called ‘Wabi Sabi’: to appreciate the imperfect, the primitive... to set aside our needs in life for that elusive ‘Perfection’ and instead focus on the beauty of things as they are, at these very moments.
