All are welcome to a gathering to see if there’s interest in trying to get the Head of the Lake to be one of NZ’s Starlight Reserves.
Great Barrier Island, Stewart Island, and Aoraki/Mt Cook have all achieved Dark Skies Reserve status and it would be amazingly wonderful if we were also able to protect our night skies and celebrate being one of the few places on the earth where we can still see the stars so brightly!
If you’re interested in coming along to talk about what we’d need to do, please head on over to the Hall on Tuesday February 4th at 7pm. If you’d like to be involved but can’t make the meeting, feel free to send Leslie VG a note at firstname.lastname@example.org
Venue: Glenorchy Hall
