The Trust is preparing to receive applications for grants in November this year. Application forms and details can be found on the Trust website at https://glenorchycommunitytrust.co.nz . Applications should be made by the 20th of November using the format on the website. Applicants who wish to discuss their applications should contact the secretary@glenorchycommunitytrust.co.nz . As the trust is establishing its capital base grants are normally capped at $5000.00. The criteria used by the trustees for grants are available on the website.
We look forward receiving your applications or to discussing your plans prior to application if that assists you.
Grants expiring.
Over the past few years, a number of grants have been made to very worthy causes subject to the remaining fundraising being achieved by the applicants. We hold these commitments for three years and unless a report detailing the progress of the fundraising is received then that money is returned to the pool for redistribution. Applicants may need to bring the trust up to date with progress in the fundraising if they have a commitment from the trust and have not achieved the required fundraising.
