The Trust will open for applications for the first tranche of grants for 2023 during March this year. Applications should be received no later than March 30th. Applications for grants should made using the portal on the Trust website. From time to time this portal has been challenging. If you are applying for a grant and experience issues with the website application please advise secretaryglenorchy@gmail.com so that the portal can be reset.

The following grants were made:
Isobel Spencer to attend the Rotary Science School in Auckland in January.
The Glenorchy Golf Club for sand to renew the bunkers on the golf course with the partnership they have created with the Hills Course.
The Rural Women sub group who will investigate gaining World Heritage status for a night sky park in Glenorchy.
The Glenorchy Church for materials for the repairs of the Church.
The Menzshed to establish and form a Men’s Shed in the village.
Nurse Debbi to assist with travel costs for the clinic she runs to support our health in the village.
The GCA to begin the fundraising for the upgrading of the pool and associated facilities.
The Trust wishes all these groups the very best for their work in making our end of the lake a better place.
