GY RIDING CLUB's END OF SEASON RIDE

The Glenorchy Riding Club invites you for the End of Season Ride.

MEETING: 
At "The Hillocks" corner paddock - at the top of Priory straight (on the corner, approx. 1km before the DART BRIDGE, on your left).
The gate will be sign posted, drive carefully in the paddock, the turn is a little tight...

TIME: 
Come in time to be ready to ride at 10am sharp.

RIDE:
We will follow up the Dart River flats along the base of Mt Alfred, then climb around the northern tip of the mountain to the viewpoint near Paradise, where we aim for "a lunch with a view”.
Returning the same way.
It is not a hard, high fitness level ride with steep climbing. The only zig-zag climb is at the point of Mt Alfred, otherwise easy grade. All together about 5hours MAX incl. lunch, depends on stops etc. 

TAKE:
All your usual riding gear for a day ride + suitable clothing + LUNCH.

LEAVE AT HOME:
Dogs, grumpy mood and bad weather...
The weather at this stage doesn't look very flash, so keep Sunday clear as a backup day - it may change indeed...
