We are fortunate to have Dr Buchanan give a talk while he is here for the Mycological Conference in Queenstown and Fungal Foray in Glenorchy.
The Missing ‘F’ Word: Fauna, Flora and … Fungi.
Did you know the fungal kingdom is five to six times the size of the plant kingdom? That fungi are more similar to animals than plants? At Catalyst Trust’s next talk, Dr Peter Buchanan from Landcare Research will give a popular introduction to the typically forgotten second kingdom of life and explain why fungi deserve recognition for their health, economic and ecological contributions.
Dr Buchanan is also participating in New Zealand’s annual Fungal Foray in Glenorchy.
