CHRISTMAS POT LUCK DINNER CANCELLED

Dear GY community,

As you will know we have had a GY potluck Christmas dinner for the past couple of years.

Last year it was a successful event at the Supper room.

However, this year – with regret - it has been cancelled. The reason is Covid and the fact that many in the community will be anxious

about gathering in large groups especially when people may be vaccinated or unvaccinated. 

With the expected influx of visitors after 15th December (from Auckland) and over the Christmas period these concerns are justified.

The Christmas carols event has also been cancelled as advised by Marie Ferris.

I hope everyone will have a quiet, enjoyable, and safe Christmas with family this year and we can have these community events again next year.
