“If you’re living out of Glenorchy check that you’re not paying stormwater and water rates – you shouldn’t be. The bad news is that under the Local Government Act the Council is only obliged to refund ratepayers back 5 years, so check your rates’ bills as soon as possible and if you’re being charged for these items contact Jackie Gorton at QLDC jackie.gorton@qldc.govt.nz and request a refund.”
