I’m hoping this finds you all doing well. I’m writing to put a Save the Date into your
diaries as I know this year is disappearing fast!
As some of you might know, the Glenorchy Heritage and Museum group applied to an
international program called Preserving Legacies in 2025
(https://www.heritageadapts.org/). PL is an international program supported by National
Geographic, ICOMOS, and the Center for Climate Change focusing on the intersection of
climate change and heritage. Ten sites a year are chosen globally and we’re in good
company with places like Petra and Angkor Wat as well as Turanganui-a-kiwa up in the
North Island.
