The Department of Conservation and Wyuna Station Management would like to remind everyone that in many places dogs are only allowed on leads, and not at all in certain public conservation lands. Dogs are prohibited in all of Whakaari Conservation area, including Judah Track.
Local areas where dogs are permitted on lead includes:
Blanket Bay Recreation Reserve
Buckler Burn Conservation Area
Buckler Burn Beech Forest Remnant
Glenorchy Foreshore Conservation Area
Glenorchy Lagoon Wildlife Management Reserve
