TREE PLANTING 2018

GLENORCHY WATERFRONT BEAUTIFICATION

Last Sunday a crew of 15 came out to help plant trees down at the waterfront after we’d been rained out the week before. Thanks to Huss and Amanda for organising the mission, and to the Wakatipu Reforestation Trust for providing us with the trees. Over 200 trees were planted that added to the more than 200 that were planted last year, which are doing great at the entrance to the walkway. We had a great time planting and some of the smallest members of the group, like Tilly helping out her dad Roger here, will hopefully get to enjoy the trees for a very long time to come!

Some fab photos, thanks again Leslie, of the hardy souls out doing it for the Community.
