GREAT AWARDS FOR GLENORCHY

The Queenstown Lakes District Trustpower Community Awards for 2016 has come to a close!

It was a truly fantastic evening last night at Mercure Queenstown, with a huge amount of love. Well done to the 2016 Supreme Winner the Catalyst Trust, and well done and thank you to all of the other winners and nominees, your community spirit and pride is evident in all that you do and it was a pleasure to celebrate with you!

This year was particularly successful for GLENORCHY - with TWO AWARDS!!!

WELL DONE GLENORCHY SCHOOL PARENTS, TEACHERS AND FRIENDS ASSOCIATION who got the RUNNER UP in the Education and Child Youth Development category

and 

THE LAKESIDE RUGBY CLUB who is the WINNER of the Heritage and Environment category - a group who have been a part of the community for many years.
