On Friday 3rd July, Kinloch Lodge hosted a fundraiser for the Glenorchy Trails Trust.
An Italian feast was served up to 71 guests complete with Patagonia Ice Cream and Glenorchy Brew Co beer.
The Trust gave a talk about their vision for the trails around our community and the current fund-raising efforts for a trail connecting the township with the Whakaari Conservation area. There was both a silent and a fun live auction with amazing prizes from sponsors from all over the Wakatipu.
A total of $7400 was raised - "we're very happy with this support from our community" said Chairman Matt Belcher.
