Glenorchy Playgroup is looking for a coordinator to run playgroup sessions Monday and Thursday 10-12pm during school terms.

This is a paid position and approximately 6-8 hours a week.

Key tasks are setting up and facilitating Playgroup Sessions and cleaning.

Would suit someone who enjoys working with children. Experience preferred but not necessary.

We have installed signage on Pigeon Island and Glenorchy, Kingston and Frankton Jetties, and a promotional campaign has started this week. 

We’ll also be running a working bee with our staff to upgrade hut facilities in early April.

The WRT Board of Trustees is looking for a new Trust Secretary.  This small but important role would be ideal for someone who has an interest in the Trust’s activities, and wants to become more involved in our work beyond attending potting up sessions or planting days.

We would like you to have a computer/laptop (or have access to one) to take minutes at our monthly Trustee meetings & annual strategy meeting.  You would also, in consultation with our Chairperson, prepare the agenda and collate the various reports required for the meeting.

Required skills / experience: 

​​Google Workspace (Drive / Docs / Sheets)

This is a voluntary position (as are all the Trustees), and should require no more than 5 hours a month.
